In this interview, Moises Salinas Alvarez comments on his academic and university training, prior to his current role as a school teacher. To do this, the researcher explains what his experience was like having prepared a postgraduate thesis that focused on the study of the Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez. All this was essential for him to learn theoretical and methodological aspects that he applies today in teaching in college classrooms. In the same way, one of the trends that he follows and that he has learned in all this time is that a teacher must be a facilitator of knowledge. Therefore, this modality has to be understood by those who intervene in this process, such as the management, teachers, students and parents. The latter should have the responsibility of accompanying their children throughout this formative school stage. In this sense, this conversation is relevant, since it allows us to know what the performance of professionals who have had a particular training in a single discipline is and that this learning will facilitate their development in other academic fields and other courses, such as in the area school.
