Peer Review Process

  1. Λambda studies. Theory and practice of didactics in language and literature, evaluates the originals from the peer review procedure.
  2. The evaluation process will last a minimum of two months.
  3. Previously, the Internal Editorial Committee assesses: the formal relevance of each article, its suitability to the objectives and content of this journal, the document format, the bibliographic coincidences, that is, it carries out plagiarism detection through Ithenticate; It also values the internal structure of scientific articles, essays and didactic experiences.
  4. Once the article is accepted in this first phase, it is evaluated, anonymously, by 2 external reviewers specializing in the thematic axes of the journal.
  5. Once the document is reviewed, the following faults will be established:
    • Publish without modifications
    • Publish with modifications
    • Do not post
  6. In the event of a discrepancy between the specialists, it will be sent to a third reviewer. All the reviewers have assessment criteria published on this platform. The acceptance or rejection of each work will be based on a reasoned decision in accordance with the statements made by these reviewers.
  7. To ensure the integrity of a blind peer review of a work submitted to this journal, the identity of the authors and reviewers is preserved. This implies that authors, editors and reviewers (who submit documents as part of their review) check if the following steps have been carried out regarding the properties of the text and the file:
    • The authors of the document have removed their names from the text.
    • In documents created in Word, the author identification must also be removed from the file properties. That is, click on: File> Save As> Name> Save. Once saved go to File> Information> Check for problems> Inspect document> Document properties and personal information> Delete personal information> Save.
